HDPE Shade Netting with Eyelets – UV-Resistant & Air-Permeable

The moment the afternoon sun moves across the patio and no one wants to sit outside anymore

No trees, no awnings, just open space and heat. You stretch this shade net over your seating area, patio, or pitch to bring the shade exactly where you are. Air continues to circulate through the fabric instead of getting trapped underneath.

What the shade net offers

• Air-permeable mesh fabric – the open weave structure slows down direct sunlight while allowing warm air to escape upward, unlike a solid tarp that causes heat to accumulate.
• UV-resistant HDPE – the high-density polyethylene is designed for continuous sun exposure, ensuring it won't become brittle after just one season.
• Metal eyelets all around – the reinforced eyelets distribute tension across the entire edge band so the fabric doesn't tear at the attachment points.
• Reinforced hem – the perimeter hem stabilizes the edges and prevents the fabric from fraying in the wind.
• Lightweight – two people can stretch the net between a house wall, tree, or post without a frame and take it down just as quickly in the evening.
• Folds flat – can be folded down to the size of a towel and stored in your trunk, garden box, or camping gear.

Suitable for families with a sunny patio, campers on open pitches, allotment gardeners looking to shade their seating area, and anyone who regularly eats outside in the summer. The light sand tone feels friendlier beneath the net than darker fabrics.

Does the net hold up in the wind?

That depends primarily on the mounting: secure it using multiple eyelets at once and at a slight angle so that wind and rainwater can run off. The more even the tension, the less the fabric will flutter. If a storm is forecast, it is best to take it down. To clean, rinse with a garden hose and let it dry completely before folding it away so that no moisture remains in the garden box.

For everyone who spends their summer outside instead of retreating indoors from the sun.
